We’re super over-excited to tell you — no, ANNOUNCE, with trumpets and streamers and pyrotechnics — that when we open our doors, we’ll be serving bread made by R&R Bakehouse.
Based in Wilpshire, R&R are a two-person team making absolutely unreal sourdough, rye and specialist loaves with their own hands and their trusty Rofco oven.
Our R&R Bakehouse bread will be made especially for us to pair with our beers, ciders and wines. Being able to swap ideas and sell amazing bread that’s not only been made locally in the Ribble Valley but that’s been made for us is like a dream come true. Seriously. We really like bread.
Anyway, you’ll find out more about the breads we’re planning to have in Corto on our snack menu, which we’ll be sharing nearer to our opening date. If you can’t wait until then, keep checking our Instagram for regular updates on our drinks, snacks, favourite local things and the bar’s progress!
