We’re excited to remind you all that Katie (and maybe Tom for some of it) will be presenting this month’s Manchester Beer Club’s event, which is itself hosted by and celebrating Cider Women.
There are some incredible women making cider and perries in the UK and all over the world, and on Thursday 7th December from 7pm we will be celebrating them and the delicious drinks they create.
Katie will also be talking about Corto’s progress now we have the keys, and about our plans to make it a top cider and perry destination in the Ribble Valley! We love cider and we want to share it with as many people as possible, so if you love cider and perry too, make sure you get your eventbrite ticket so you can join in with us on zoom.
Hopefully she’ll be in the bar zooming from her phone since the broadband has been put back again (thanks a lot, broadband gods) so you may even get a mini tour if there’s anything to look at by then. If not, we’ll work something out from home. Either way, there’ll still be a ton to discuss!
7pm — Katie chats about Corto and the bar’s plans for natural cider and perries
7.10pm — Meeting Isy and Mike and tasting their Barley Wood Orchard ciders
7.30pm – An introduction to Cider Women
7.40pm – Meeting Lydia and Tom and tasting their Artistraw ciders and perries
8pm – Meeting Fionna and Dave and tasting their Bartestree ciders and perries
8.20pm – Questions, guests and announcements
8.30pm – Social Chat until late (you don’t want to miss this part!)
Unfortunately the drink-along boxes sourced and provided by the wonderful Nicky Kong at The Crown and Kettle and The Cat In The Glass in Manchester sold out long ago, but please do join us with your own cider choices. All are welcome! Please join us!
